About TITANIA
KRONOS is vertically integrated through its Titania mine located in Hauge i Dalane, Norway. Titania was founded in 1902 and has been a part of KRONOS since 1927. The ilmenite ore deposit at Tellenes, Sør Rogaland, is considered to be one of the largest in the world.
Titania is one of the biggest mining operations in Norway. Full production capacity of ilmenite concentrate is estimated to be 870,000 tons, and today the number of employees is 250. With over 100 years of experience, in addition to supplying KRONOS a significant percentage of feedstock needs, it continuous to expand its product markets.
